See NYC Cops, Firefighters in Bloody Brawl After Charity Football Game
New York's finest and bravest took Sunday off to play a charity football game in Brooklyn — and get in a massive brawl.
It was supposed to be a day of good, family fun. In fact, it was named the Fun City Bowl.
But when the New York Police Department and Fire Department squared off in a charity football game Sunday, a violent brawl broke out, as seen in a New York Daily News video.
The Fun (Fight) City Bowl — played at Coney Island's MCU Park — raised money for the NYPD Widow's and Children's Fund and the FDNY Fire Family Transport Foundation, according to the NYPD Facebook page. The teams played a clean game, and the police won by a score of 29-13.

But when the game ended tempers flared and cheers turned into frightened screams.
As the two teams lined up to shake hands — normally a sign of good sportsmanship — a few of New York's Finest and Bravest used their hands to inflict damage on their fellow law enforcement officers instead.

The Daily News video captured the defenders of the peace wrestling on the turf, dragging away injured payers and shouting curses at each other as fans watched.
