Harlem 110th Street Shooting Report Unfounded; Service Resuming on 2,3 Line
Commuters ran from the station due to rumors of a shooting.

HARLEM, NEW YORK — A "shots fired" rumor at the Harlem 110th Street Station turned out to be a verbal dispute between two people, according to the NYPD.
Police said no shots were fired during the dispute and are not sure how the information came about.
"Someone may have heard fighting and may have thought that was what was going on," an NYPD spokeswoman told Patch.

Service on the 2 and 3 express lines was disrupted as a result of the incident, leading to overcrowded 1 trains. Service was said to be resuming with residual delays around 9:30 a.m.
