Concert this weekend! Shiozaki Duo debuts at Art on the Corner.

Shiozaki Duo debuts at Art on the Corner with a program that includes works by Somei Satoh, Gabriel Fauré, Olivier Messiaen, and Aaron Copland.

Since 2008, violinist Alex Shiozaki and pianist Nana Shi have been performing together as the Shiozaki Duo. Described by The New York Times as “spellbinding,” they have concertized in venues across the country including Carnegie Hall, Roerich Museum, and Dillon Gallery in New York City; the McAfee Performing Arts Center in California; and Harvard University. They are alumni of the Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival, where they first met, and the Tanglewood Music Center, as well as current artists with the Chelsea Music Festival in NYC. Their 2016 highlights include duo recitals in California, Maryland, and New York.
