Weekend Brooklyn Subway Alert: Changes to A, C, G and F Lines

The changes will last from 11:45 a.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday

BROOKLYN, NY — The A, C, G and F lines will all see service changes this weekend in Brooklyn. For more information on weekend subway changes, you can consult the MTA's Weekender website.

A train: From 11:45 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday, A trains will run on the F line in both directions between West 4th Street and Jay St-MetroTech. This change will take place every weekend until August 8. The E and J trains will provide alternate service.

Additionally, A and C trains will not stop at the following stations: Spring Street, Canal Street, Chambers Street, Fulton Street and High Street. E, J and F trains will provide alternate service.

C train: On Saturday and Sunday, C trains will run on the F line in both directions between West 4th Street and Jay St-MetroTech. This change will take place every weekend until August 7. The E and J trains will provide alternate service.

G train: From 11:45 p.m. on Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, G trains will not run between Hoyt-Schermerhorn and Church Avenue. A and F trains will provide alternate service. This change will also take place next weekend, July 16-18.

Additionally, during the weekend, G trains will operate in two sections: from Court Square to Bedford-Nostrand Avenue (normal service), and from Bedford-Nostrand to Hoyt-Schermerhorn (every 20 minutes).

F train: From 11 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, Coney Island-bound F trains will run express from Jay Street-MetroTech to Church Avenue, with a stop at 7th Avenue. Jamaica-bound F trains will stop at the bypassed stations. G trains will not stop at the bypassed stations.
