• I-88 exit signs to convert to mileage-based, DoT says (binghamtonhomepage.com) — Drivers in Broome County will start seeing I-88 exit numbers change as the state converts them to a mileage-based system, beginning September 28. The $1.1 million project, running through 2026 along the 117-mile highway, aims to make it easier for motorists and first responders to pinpoint locations without causing major traffic disruptions.
