2 Women Killed In Massive East New York Fire, Officials Say
A three-alarm fire on Belmont Avenue claimed the lives of two women early Wednesday morning, officials said.
EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN — Two women died when a massive fire erupted on Belmont Avenue Wednesday morning, officials said.
Firefighters pulled the two women out of a three-alarm fire at 964 Belmont Ave. around 1:30 a.m., said police.
Emergency responders rushed the women to Brookdale Hospital but doctors were unable to save their lives, police said.

A firefighter was also injured, FDNY officials said in a tweet.
The FDNY Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire, officials said.
