Brownsville Woman Stabs Boyfriend And Flees, Cops Say

Police are looking for the woman who stabbed and slashed her boyfriend in their Brownsville home Monday morning.

BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN -- Police are looking for a woman who stabbed her boyfriend in the back Monday morning.

The unidentified woman lunged at her 32-year-old boyfriend inside their home near Watkins Street and Hegeman Avenue just before 10:30 a.m., police said.

She slashed her boyfriend's face, stabbed him in the back and then fled the scene, according to police.

Medics rushed the 32-year-old to Brookdale Hospital where he is being treated and is expected to survive, police said.

The woman had not been captured as of 2 p.m., said police.
