Brownsville Pedestrian Struck By Hit-And-Run Driver, Officials Say
The unidentified victim suffered serious trauma to the head, police said.

BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN — A pedestrian was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Brownsville late Wednesday night and is now in serious condition, officials said.
The unidentified victim was crossing the street near Sutter and Georgia avenues around 11:30 p.m. when the car sped knocked the pedestrian to the ground, said police and the FDNY.
The person suffered head trauma and was rushed to Brookdale Hospital in serious condition, officials said.

No arrests had been made as of Thursday morning and the investigation remains ongoing, police said.
