Brutal Brooklyn Robbery Attempt Leaves Man Critically Hurt: NYPD
Video shows a man and three women pummeling another man on New Lots Avenue last week in a botched robbery attempt, police said.

EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN -- Video shows a thief delivering a brutal beating and a troupe of female accomplices who tried to rob the bleeding victim, police said.
The shirtless attacker punched a 45-year-old man in the face and knocked him to the ground in front of 779 New Lots Ave. at about 2:25 p.m. Wednesday, police said.
Video shows the man hitting and kicking his victim repeatedly, before strolling away as three women approach the body lying in the street.

The women attempted to take the man's personal items but strolled away without any loot, according to police and video.
Emergency responders rushed the man in critical condition to Brookdale Hospital where he was treated for severe head trauma, said police.
