Canarsie Boy Killed When Mom Crashes Into Parked Car, Police Say
Six-year-old Jerry Louisamard was killed after his mom crashed her Toyota on Seaview Avenue Wednesday afternoon, police said.
CANARSIE, BROOKLYN — A 6-year-old Canarsie boy was killed when his mom crashed into a parked car on Seaview Avenue Wednesday afternoon, according to police and reports.
Jerry Louisamard and his 44-year-old mom were both injured when her 2013 Toyota Highlander rammed into a 2017 Nissan Rouge parked on Seaview Avenue near Paerdegat Avenue North shortly after 4 p.m., police said.
Louisamard suffered severe chest injuries and his mom was hurt on her left side, police said.

Emergency responders rushed the pair to Brookdale Hospital where Louisamard later died and his mom was listed in stable condition, police said.
The crash occurred less than a mile from the little boy's home on Paerdegat Fifth and East 80th streets, police said.
