Canarsie Man Who Attacked 74-Year-Old Woman Arrested, Police Say
Kent Macdougall was charged with assault Thursday for punching an elderly woman in the face last week, said police.
CANARSIE, BROOKLYN — Police have arrested the man who beat up a 74-year-old woman on a Canarsie street corner.
Kent Macdougall, 45, walked up to the elderly woman on the corner of Rockaway Parkway and Farragut Road around 10:30 a.m. last Friday, police said.
The Canarsie man then punched her in the face with enough force to knock her to the ground and sprain her wrist, said police.

Macdougall was arrested Thursday afternoon at about 1:20 p.m. and charged with assault, police said.
