Canarsie Man's Shooters Charged With Murder, Cops Say
Darren Wilson and Rean Awong were arrested and charged with murdering Julian Edwards in Canarsie last week, police said.

CANARSIE, BROOKLYN — Two men accused of shooting another man in the head on a Canarsie street corner last week have been charged with murder, police said.
Darren Wilson and Rean Awong were arrested for murdering of Julian Edwards, 21, near East 89th Street and Avenue L at about 7:15 p.m. on May 9, said police.
The two men fled the scene and emergency responders rushed Edwards, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the head, to Brookdale Hospital where he later died, said police.

Wilson, 18, and Awong, 21, were arraigned and remanded on charges of murder and criminal possession of a weapon in Brooklyn Criminal Court Saturday, records show.
Another man, Anjuwon Butcher, 21, was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon, said police.
