Drowning Swimmer Rescued From Brooklyn School Pool, FDNY Says
Emergency responders found a person drowning at the Franklin K. Lane Education Campus on Jamaica Avenue, said the FDNY.
CYPRESS HILLS, BROOKLYN -- Emergency responders rescued a drowning swimmer inside a Brooklyn school Monday afternoon, said the FDNY.
Medics rushed to the Franklin K. Lane Educational Campus at 999 Jamaica Ave. after receiving reports that someone was drowning shortly after 3 p.m., according to the FDNY.
Emergency responders rushed the person, in serious condition, to Woodhull Hospital, the FDNY said.

The public school campus is home to Multicultural High School, Academy of Innovative Technology, Brooklyn Lab School, Cypress Hills Collegiate Preparatory School and the Urban Assembly School for Collaborative Health Care, city records show.
Franklin K. Lane has a boys varsity swim team, according to the Public School Athletic Team website.
