Elderly Woman Murdered In Brownsville Home, Police Say
Jacolia James, 83, was found dead in her Powell Street apartment Tuesday night, according to police.
BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN — An elderly woman was murdered inside her Brownsville home Tuesday evening, police said.
Police found Jacolia James, 83, lying on the floor of her apartment at Dumont Avenue and Powell Street at about 11:50 p.m., according to the NYPD.
James, who was pronounced dead, had wounds on her head and torso, according to police.
