Gunman Shoots Cypress Hill Teenager In Chest, Cops Say

Police are looking for the man who shot a 17-year-old on Elton Street and Arlington Avenue last weekend.

CYPRESS HILLS, BROOKLYN -- Police are hunting for the man who shot a teenager in the chest last Saturday.

The gunman shot his 17-year-old victim during an argument on the corner of Elton Street and Arlington Avenue at 9:25 p.m. on March 2, said police.

The armed man then jumped into a dark-colored sedan and fled northbound on Elton Street, according to police.

Emergency responders rushed the teen to a local hospital in stable condition, said police.

Police released photos of the suspect, whom they describe as a man in his 20s, late Monday night.
