Hammer Attack: Man Beaten By Stranger In Brownsville, Police Say

The victim was standing on Blake and Miller avenues Monday night when he was attacked by a hammer-wielding stranger, police said.

BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for the man who swung a hammer in another man’s face Monday night.

The 36-year-old victim was standing on the corner of Blake and Miller avenues around 10:30 p.m. when an unidentified man struck him in the head, said police.

The victim was rushed to Brookdale Hospital where he was treated for cuts and bruising on his face, police said.

No arrests had been made as of Tuesday morning and the investigation remains ongoing, according to police.
