Infant Girl Dies In Brooklyn Home Monday Night, Cops Say
Two-month-old Nafisa Begum was found unconscious in her Pitkin Avenue home shortly after 10 p.m., police said.
EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN β Police will investigate the death of a 2-month-old baby girl who was found unconscious in her East New York home Monday night.
Nafisa Begum lost consciousness in a house on the corner of Pitkin and Autumn avenues at about 10:10 p.m. on Nov. 26, police said.
Emergency responders rushed into the second-floor home and took Begum to Brookdale Hospital, but doctors could not save her life, said police.

Police officers also responded to the 911 call and saw no obvious signs of trauma on the baby's body, according to the NYPD.
Police will investigate and the Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
