Jaguar Crash Kills 90-Year-Old Canarsie Man, Cops Say
Nissen Krakinowski was struck by a blue Jaguar as he tried to cross Ralph Avenue Thursday night, police said.
CANARSIE, BROOKLNY -- A 90-year-old man was fatally struck by a Jaguar while jaywalking in Canarsie, police said.
Nissen Krakinowski, 90, was hit by the blue sports car while crossing Ralph Avenue near Avenue L, and outside the crosswalk, at about 7:25 p.m. Thursday night, said police.
Krakinowski suffered severe head injuries and was rushed to Brookdale Hospital, but doctors were unable to save his life, police said.

The Jaguar driver remained at the accident had was not immediately charged with a crime, though police noted the investigation remains ongoing.
