Man Beaten To Death Outside Brownsville Bodega, Police Say

BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for the couple who brutally beat and robbed a man who later died from his injuries.

Police released photos Tuesday of the man who slammed a 53-year-old man's head to the ground outside Mucho Loco Deli Grocery on the corner of Sutter Avenue and Junius Street at about 4:15 a.m. last Tuesday.

Photos were also released of the woman who picked the unconscious man's pockets then ran away with his attacker, police said.

Emergency responders found the badly injured man and rushed him to Brookdale Hospital, but he died from his injuries two days later, police said.

Police said the attacker was last seen wearing a gray sleeveless shirt and black shorts and his accomplice wore a black romper.

There have been no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
