Man Raped Teen In MLK Playground Bathroom, Police Say

Police have released surveillance images of the man suspected of raping an 18-year-old in a Brownsville playground on Monday.

BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for the man who raped a teenager in a playground bathroom on Monday.

The man whipped out a knife and forced the 18-year-old girl into the Martin Luther King Jr. Playground bathroom near Dumont and Miller avenues at about 8:20 a.m., police said.

He ran away after raping the young woman, who was taken to a nearby hospital, said police.

The suspect — whom police desrcibe as a six-foot-tall man with brown eyes, black hair sporting dark clothes and red hat — was captured on surveillance footage released Friday morning.
