Man Shot In East New York In Serious Condition: FDNY

EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN — A man who was shot Friday morning at an affordable housing complex in East New York is in serious condition, officials said.

First responders were called to the complex at 500 Livonia Avenue around 10:20 a.m. and found when they arrived that a man had been shot, police said. Officers were still on the scene around 10:40 a.m. and said the roads might still be closed as they investigate the crime scene.

FDNY officials did not have details about where the man was shot, but said he is in serious condition and was brought to Brookdale Hospital.
