Man Stabs Teens and Woman In Brownsville Grocery Store, Police Say

The suspect, whom may go by Ty or Tyrone, attacked two teens and a woman in a Brownsville grocery store last month, police said.

BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for the man who stabbed a teen in the head and slashed two other people inside a Brownsville grocery story.

The suspect began to argue with the woman and two teens inside a grocery store near Pitkin Avenue and Mother Gaston Boulevard around 10 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 20, police said.

Suddenly the man, whom police believe is called Ty or Tyrone, whipped out a blade, stabbed the 14-year old boy’s head, slashed the girl and woman, and fled down Pitkin Avenue, said police.

The boy was taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition, said police. The 36-year-old woman and 15-year-old girl refused medical attention.

Police describe the slasher as a bald man in his forties who stands about six-feet tall and has several missing teeth.
