NYPD Officer Struck By Hit-And-Run Driver In Brownsville: Report
A police officer was hit by a black Mitsubishi on East New York Avenue Friday morning, according to officials and a Brooklyn News 12 report.

BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN - A police officer was struck by a hit-and-run driver early Friday morning, according to officials and reports.
The officer was hit by a black Mitsubishi on East New York and Buffalo avenues — just outside Lincoln Terrace Park — around 7:25 a.m., said an FDNY spokesman and a Brooklyn News 12 report.
Police told News 12 the driver sped away into Crown Heights.

Emergency responders took the officer to Kings County Hospital, according to the FDNY, and News 12 reported he is expected to survive his injuries.
The NYPD press office did not have information on the incident as of 1:30 p.m. Friday.
