Pitkin Avenue Muggers Shoot Man's Hand, Cops Say
Police are looking for two men who shot their victim in the hand before stealing his wallet, cellphone and necklace.

BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN -- Two muggers shot a man's hand during a daylight robbery on a Brownsville street, police said.
Two men picked a fight the 38-year-old near Pitkin and Howard avenues at about 11 a.m. on Jan. 8, police said.
The argument became violent when one of the men pulled out a gun and shot the 38-year-old's left hand, according to police.

The pair grabbed the wounded man's wallet, cellphone and necklace β all of which cost an estimated $675 β and ran away, police said.
The mugged man went to Kings County Hospital where he was treated and released, according to police.

Police released photos of two suspects on Saturday. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the NYPD.
