Purse Thief Tackles And Punches Victim Outside Bodega, Police Say
The woman knocked her victim to the ground outside a grocery store on Hegeman Avenue, said police.

EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for the woman who threw another woman to the ground and ran off with her purse.
The 30-year-old woman was standing outside a bodega near Hegeman and Van Siclen avenues around 7:50 p.m. when her attacker lunged, police said.
The 30-year-old was knocked to the ground and punched multiple times before the woman grabbed her purse — which contained her debit card — and fled the scene, police said.

Police are now looking for the purse thief, whom they describe as a woman in a yellow shirt, black hat, black pants and black sandals.
