Teen Almost Thrown Onto Tracks For Refusing Stranger Sex: Cops
A violent straphanger attacked the young woman in the Cypress Hills station Tuesday morning, police said.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK -- A straphanger grabbed a teenaged girl by her hair, demanded she perform "a sexual act on him," then tried to throw her onto the J train tracks when she resisted, police said.
The suspect snuck up behind his 19-year-old victim on the Cypress Hills station southbound platform near Hemlock Street and Jamaica Avenue at about 1:20 a.m. Tuesday, police said.
When she struggled to escape his grasp, he tried to throw her into the tracks and then fled the station, said police.

Police released photos of the suspect, whom they describe as a 6-foot-tall man weighing about 230 pounds, on Saturday.
Anyone with information about where to find the man is asked to contact police.
