Teenager And Woman Shot In Broad Daylight In East New York, Officials Say
The teenager is in critical condition after he was shot in the torso and neck, said police.

EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN — A teenaged boy and a woman were shot in broad daylight Wednesday afternoon, officials said.
The 16-year-old boy and the 45-year-old woman were shot by two gunmen on the corner of Pitkin Avenue and Bradford Street around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, said police and the FDNY.
The teenager, who was shot numerous times in the torso and neck, was rushed to Brookdale in critical condition, said officials.

The woman suffered a gunshot wound in her leg and was taken to Kings County Hospital in serious but stable condition, officials said.
Police are looking for two suspects, one of whom wore a black du-rag and fled northbound on Pitkin Avenue.
