Teens Charged With Attempted Murder Of Father And Son In Brownsville, Police Say

Three teenagers have been charged with attempted murder after attacking a father and son on a Brownsville street corner, said police.

BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN — Three teenagers who stabbed a father and son in broad daylight on Friday now face attempted murder charges, according to police.

Tyreek Covington, 18, Joydan Cusaac, 19, and Devon Plowden, 16, stabbed a 21-year-old man and his 47-year-old father on the corner of Pitkin Avenue and Thomas S. Boyland Street around 2:20 p.m. Friday, according to police and court records.

The three teens — who face charges of attempted murder and gang assault — were arraigned in Brooklyn Criminal Court on Monday and held on bail, court records show.

The father and son — whom the Daily News identified as Wilbert and Christopher Caraballo — were rushed to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition, police said.
