Thieves Take Stolen Credit Cards On Target Shopping Spree, Police Say

Police are looking for three men who stole a man's credit cards in East New York then went shopping in nearby Targets.

EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN — Three men took stolen credit cards on shopping spree and targeted only nearby Targets, police said.

The Target enthusiasts stole the 41-year-old man’s credit cards from his unlocked car parked outside the retail store's outpost at 519 Gateway Drive some time before 2 p.m. on Aug. 22, police said.

The thieves began a tour of nearby Targets that afternoon, using the credit cards to buy merchandise at the 519 Gateway Drive and 139 Flatbush Avenue locations, said police.

Police released photos of the suspects on Wednesday — one suspect can be seen wearing a green and white hat and glasses, two others wear du-rags and one carries a Target shopping bag.
