BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN -- A guy who left his $2,300 vintage guitar unattended on a Brooklyn sidewalk for 15 minutes was shocked to discover someone took it.

The 29-year-old left his Fender electric guitar near the House of Faith Church on near Saratoga Avenue and Prospect Place at about 11:40 a.m. on March 3, said police.

Police released photos of the guitar and a suspected suspected axe-grabber early Tuesday morning, but later announced the suspect had been cleared.
