Watch: Man Attacks Deli Worker With Stolen Milk Crate In East New York
The suspect stole a milk crate from a New Lots Avenue store then used it to fend off the deli worker who tried to stop him, police said.

EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for the man who beat a bodega employee with the milk crate he stole from the man’s store.
The 59-year-old victim caught the man stealing the empty milk sitting in front of his store on New Lots Avenue and Elton Street around 5:45 p.m. Saturday, police said.
Surveillance cameras captured footage of the deli employee trying to stop the man, who turns, swings the crate into the employee’s face, then walks away.

The victim suffered from a cut to his left eye but did not request medical attention, police said.
Police describe the suspect as a man in his twenties last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, ripped blue jeans, white sneakers and what appears to be a blue Kansas City Royals baseball hat.
