Watch Nimble Cash Box Thief Squeeze Through Security Window
A stalwart burglar was caught on camera making multiple grabs for a Brooklyn laundromat cash box just beyond his grasp, police said.

EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN -- A nimble and determined burglar was caught on video squeezing through a laundromat security window and grabbing a cash box, police said Tuesday.
Security footage shows the man making multiple grabs for the tin box β with about $600 inside it β behind the glass partition at Jiang Family Laundromat on New Lots Avenue and Vermont Street, police said.
It was just before 4 p.m. on March 6 when the man and his lookout, a woman with a cigarette dangling from her lips, put their plans into action.

Video shows the man reaching through the security window, wedging a drawer open with a yellow highlighter, then taking off his jacket and squeezing into the booth to grab the box.
Police are now looking for the determined thief and his nonchalant accomplice, whom they describe as a man in a white baseball cap and a woman wearing glasses and a black knit cap.
