Man Drags Girlfriend In Front Of Train As He Jumps To Death: NYPD

Cynthia Raiser was killed at Broadway Junction, police said.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK β€” A man who leapt to his death in front of a train at Broadway Junction Thursday dragged a his girlfriend with him onto the tracks, police said.

The 54-year-old man grabbed Cynthia Raiser, 42, and threw her onto the tracks as he jumped in front of a northbound C train at the Fulton Street subway station at about 4:45 p.m., police said.

Emergency responders rushed to the train station but Raiser died at the scene, said police.

The 53-year-old, whose name had not been released as of Friday morning, was rushed to Brookdale Hospital where he later died, police said.

Raiser lived in the region of Queens called Utopia, according to police.
