More than 27,000 visits were logged, and officials now plan added furniture and shaded areas so Buffalo families can enjoy pool days that rival nearby suburbs next year.

Buffalo Roam to be replaced by ParkMobile, pay-as-you-park (wkbw.com) — If you park in Buffalo, you'll soon be using the ParkMobile app instead of Buffalo Roam to pay at meters along streets like Elmwood, Allen, downtown, and eventually Hertel. The new system lets you pay only for the time you use, while traditional meters remain available as the city upgrades kiosks and phases out the old app.
   

3. Former Market Bar gets new life with apartments, arts space planned for Broadway-Fillmore (wkbw.com) — A long-vacant former Market Bar building across from Buffalo's Broadway Market is being transformed into the Gibson Piano Bar, with upstairs apartments and a first-floor arts and community space. As Broadway Market renovations also move ahead, neighbors hope these investments will bring more residents, activity, and everyday foot traffic back into the Broadway-Fillmore area.
   

4. Buffalo shelter's viral social media post reunites woman with dog she almost didn't adopt (wkbw.com) — A heartwarming adoption story at the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter ended happily after a viral Instagram post helped reconnect a local woman with Lloyd, the dog she thought she'd missed out on.
