Bushwick Motorcyclist Killed Fleeing Cops, Police Say
Junior Posadas crashed his motorcycle in Bushwick last month and died from his injuries Wednesday, police said.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — A young motorcyclist was thrown from his motorcycle and killed when he tried to escape police who caught him running a red light, according to police.
Police began chasing Junior Posadas, 23, when he sped through a red light on the corner of Myrtle Avenue and Bleecker Street at about 12:10 p.m. on Sept. 17, according to the NYPD.
The cops turned on their sirens and tried to pull over Posadas, but he made quick turns onto Central and Green avenues and zoomed off in the wrong direction down the one-way streets, said police.

Posadas eventually slammed into a car on Evergreen and Greene avenues and was thrown from his motorcycle, police said.
Emergency responders rushed him to Brookdale Hospital, where Posadas, of Bushwick, died from his injuries on Wednesday, said police.
