Bushwick Woman Killed By Ex In Front Of Mother: Police And Report

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN -- A Bushwick mom was shot dead by an ex-boyfriend in front of her mother Sunday night, according to police and reports.

Sade Sanchez, 24, was shot repeatedly on the corner of Menahan Street and Saint Nicholas Avenue at about 10:30 p.m., police said.

Sanchez, a mother of two, was walking with her own mom when Gabriel Rivera, 26, allegedly shot her in the chest, throat, stomach and shoulder, according to police and an ABC News 7 report.

Rivera fled north on Saint Nicholas Avenue and emergency responders rushed Sanchez to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center where she later died, police said.

Anyone with information about Rivera's location is asked to contact police.
