Dead Man Found On L Train, Police Say
A straphanger was found dead on a Brooklyn L train over the weekend, police said.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK -- A dead man was found riding the L train in Brooklyn over the weekend, police said.
Police found the unconscious man in a train at the Rockaway Parkway subway station on Glenwood Road at about 10:45 p.m. Saturday night, police said.
The man, who had a gash over his right eye, was taken to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead, said police.

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of the man's death and his name will be released once his family has been notified, according to police.
