Gunman Who Killed Brooklyn Dad On Father's Day Arrested, Cops Say

David Hall was charged with murdering William Fernandez on a Bushwick street corner, police said.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — Police arrested the gunman they believe killed a Brooklyn dad in Bushwick on Father’s Day.

David Hall, 46, was charged Thursday with shooting William Fernandez on the corner of Bushwick Avenue and Beaver Street shortly after midnight on June 17, said police.

Fernandez, who planned to spend that day with his four children in their Bed-Stuy home, was rushed to Wyckoff Hospital with a bullet wound in his chest, but doctors could not save his life, police said.

Hall, who lives two blocks away from where the shooting occurred, was arrested on July 5 and charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, said police.
