Person Hit By Brooklyn L Train, MTA Says

L train service was first suspended, then delayed, after a person was hit by a train at the Myrtle Avenue station, officials said.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN -- A person was hit by an L train at the Myrtle Avenue station Thursday morning, officials said.

The MTA announced L train service would be suspended between Broadway Junction and Lorimer Street at about 7:20 a.m after a person was hit at the Myrtle and Wyckoff avenues station.

L train service has since resumed in both directions but transit officials warned subway riders to expect delays.
