Rally Planned For 2 Trans Women Attacked In Bushwick On Brooklyn Pride

Protesters will rally against transphobic violence Thursday night near where London Jade and Jasmine Infiniti were attacked two weeks ago.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — Activists will rally in Freedom Triangle Park Thursday night to condemn the attack on two transgender women the day of Brooklyn Pride.

London Jade and Jasmine Infiniti were attacked near Myrtle and Bushwick avenues the morning of June 10th by a gang who screamed “f-----ts” and “transformers” as they fractured Jasmine Infiniti’s jaw and sliced open London Jade’s thigh, according to activists and police.

The attacks, which police are investigating as a hate crime, spurred public outrage and a YouCaring.com page earned more than $46,000 to help the two women pay mounting medical bills.
