Massive Fire Destroys Bushwick Home, FDNY Says
An enormous fire erupted inside a home near Halsey Street and Wilson Avenue Monday Morning, said the FDNY.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — Firefighters battled an enormous blaze in a Bushwick home early Monday morning.
The three-alarm fire erupted at 1216 Halsey St. — an occupied three-story house — around 6:15 a.m. Monday morning, according to the FDNY.
Firefighters were still struggling to get the fire under control at 8:20 a.m. at which time no injuries had been reported, said the FDNY.

Neighbors reported heavy smoke and the sounds of many sirens blaring early Monday morning on Twitter.

B26 and B60 buses were detoured between Wilson and Knickerbocker avenues because of the fire, the MTA announced.
