The Brooklyn Historical Society holds its annual Fall gala. The event will feature the following:
- Tastings of food and drink from Brooklyn growers, chefs, and purveyors given the challenge of utilizing a Brooklyn-grown or produced ingredient
- Historical cocktails by Brooklyn mixologists
- Food stories told by Brooklynites
- A viewing of historical and new maps and materials related to local food and agriculture
- A silent auction of unique Brooklyn prizes and experiences
- Music by The Blue Vipers of Brooklyn
- The first-ever Brooklyn Food Awards
