Lessons and Carols and More with Music of Gibbons and Vaughn-Williams at Christ Church, Cobble Hill

Christ Church, Cobble Hill, will be presenting a program of Lessons and Carols with the Cobble Hill Consort and guest artists.  the Viol Consort, Sonnambula, will be playing a prelude to the service, In Nomine, by Orlando Gibbons, as well as accompanying the anthem, This Is the Record of John with countertenor, Philip Augustin Koch.  The other featured piece is the concert Magnificat of Ralph Vaughn-Williams, with Brooklyn favorite alto soloist, Hayden Dewitt, star of the Vertical Players Opera, as well as other groups. Other composers presented are Ravenscroft, Lauridsen, and traditional carols and hymns.

The church is at the corner of Clinton and Kane Sts. in Cobble Hill, and there is no admission charge.  There is a chance for a free will offering.
