A.G. Williams Sponsors Support Connection Walk To Help Raise Funds For Their Breast And Ovarian Cancer Programs

A. G. Williams Painting Company participated in the 2014 Support-A-Walk. For the past four years A.G. Williams has participated in the Support Connection’s annual fundraising event and this year the company served as a walk sponsor, handing out t-shirts to participants and donating funds to the cause.

A.G. Williams has been involved with Support Connection since 2011,” said Armonk resident, Liane Rigano who is the Color Consultant for A.G. Williams Painting Company. “We are proud to be able to help contribute to their important work throughout the region.”

Nearly 10,000 participants attended the October 5 walk at FDR State Park in Yorktown Heights and celebrated the 20th year of the Support Connection’s walk. Each year, the Support Connections brings attention to people living with breast and ovarian cancer. All proceeds from the Support-A-Walk go to the Support Connection’s free, year-round services for those living with the diseases in Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess Counties.

“Everyone came together to support, celebrate, and remember,” the Support Connection said in a statement. “Every year for 20 years we’ve been moved and humbled by the many expressions of emotion, solidarity and inspiration that come from you, our friends and supporters.”

Support Connection, Inc. is a 501 (C) (3) not-for-profit organization that provides free, confidential support services and programs to people affected by breast and ovarian cancer.
