"Outsmarting Autism" Expert and Author Patricia Lemer to Speak at WeeZee - The Science of Play

WeeZee - The Science of Play will kick off its new Parent & Professional Education Series with a fascinating “Outsmarting Autism” program hosted by renowned guru and speaker Patricia Lemer, author of the newly-released book, Outsmarting Autism on Wednesday, September 3 at 6:30pm. Patty will share her 30 years of successful strategies used to identify, prevent and manage neuro-processing disorders that cause Learning Disabilities in our children. Parents and professionals will learn how children can avoid errors in information transmitted through the body to the brain. Her book discusses how the child can establish a strong foundation for appropriate sensory reaction through focused communication, interaction and integration. Patty’s diverse network of patients and professionals has contributed Tips/Tricks that families, specialists, and educators can put to use immediately to “outsmart autism”. Her talk will be followed by a Q&A and book signing.

WeeZee coaches will be on-hand for kids while parents participate in the lecture. A light Italian dinner of gluten- and casein-free foods will be available.
