Bedford Superintendent Search: Community Survey, Forums
Having hired a search firm, the Bedford school trustees begin looking for a replacement for Jere Hochman.

The Bedford Board of Education has again hired the firm of Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates to assist with the process of finding a new schools superintendent.
Jere Hochman, who had headed the district since 2008, left in October to take a job as New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s deputy secretary for education.
One of the key steps in replacing him, said Jennifer Gerken, president of the school board, is to identify the characteristics the community wants in the new district leader.
