Beer In Pants; Youths With Rifles: Mount Kisco Police Blotter

Here are some of the recent incidents to which Westchester County Police have responded.

MOUNT KISCO, NY — Here are some of the recent events to which Westchester County Police responded in Mount Kisco:

Friday, Oct. 27 – 3:52 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to a residence on Rolling Ridge Court after an alarm company reported that a burglar alarm had been activated and a person who answered the phone there provided an incorrect passcode. As officers arrived at the scene, the alarm company reported that the correct passcode had been provided.
2:48 p.m. – A market on Kirby Plaza reported that a teen-ager entered the store, put a can of beer in his pants and left the store. Officers reviewed security video and took the youth into custody a short time later after observing him walking on South Moger Avenue. He was charged with Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor.
12:51 p.m. – A motorist called Westchester County Police report that he had been involved in a road rage incident on Carpenter Avenue. Officers determined the incident was verbal in nature only.

Thursday, Oct. 26 – 2:59 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to Croton Avenue on a report
that youths with rifles were walking in the street. Officers located several youths with paintball guns.
12:33 p.m. – A Barker Street resident reported that she received a phone call from someone claiming to
be from the IRS. The resident said she realized it was a scam and hung up.

Wednesday, Oct. 25 – 9:14 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to Carpenter Avenue after an
odor of gas and a hissing sound was detected. Con Edison was notified and also responded.
7:37 p.m. – A resident of Victoria Drive who was home alone called Westchester County police after she
said a downstairs light came on in her home. Officers did a walk-through of the house and determined
there was no intruder.

Tuesday, Oct. 24 – 5:59 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to Holiday Inn Drive on a report
that an elderly woman in a pink bathrobe had walked away from the hotel. An officer located the
woman on Kisco Avenue and returned her to the hotel, where she was staying with her daughter for the
evening.
