Greeley let slip away all but one point of a 15 point first half lead to escape with a narrow win at home over Rye and avenge a loss from earlier in the season.

It was a tale of two halves, as Greeley methodically built its first half lead with pressure defense and good shooting. As a result, the Quakers held Rye to 2 points in the first quarter and took a 12 point lead into the half.

However, the second half was a different story as the Rye shooters started to heat up and Greeley committed numerous turnovers against the Rye press. Slowly, Rye sliced into Greeley's lead as it held the Quakers to a season low of 13 points in the second half. Rye had the ball with 16 seconds remaining and down by one point but it missed two opportunities to win the game after it failed to convert two offensive rebounds as the clock expired.

Jackie Brett led the team with 12 points and Issy Berkey added 10 including three 3 pointers in the first half.
