Brewster Resident Dead in 1-Car Crash in New Castle

The 26-year-old was identified in news reports as Kristopher Stephenson.

The driver who died yesterday when he hit two utility poles on Route 133 was Brewster resident Kristopher Stephenson, the Westchester County Medical Examiner’s Office told The Journal News.

Stephenson was 26. He was headed west when his BMW ran off the road, police said.

The crash took place just after 1 a.m. July 21.

Route 133, which police also called Millwood Road, was closed in both directions between Seven Bridges Road and Longview Lane so that Con Ed crews could repair the utility poles. It was not reopened until almost 8 p.m.
