Byram Hills School Calendar 2022-23: 1st Day Of School

ARMONK, NY — It seems as if summer just started, but before you know it, the 2022-23 school year will be starting.

The first day of classes for the Byram Hills school district is Tuesday, September 6.

Whether or not you and your children are looking forward to the upcoming school year, you will want to write down the dates in your calendar as soon as possible.

Here is the full list of dates to know for the 2022-23 school year:

• 11/24-25 Thanksgiving recess

• 1/16 Martin Luther King Jr. Day
• 1/24-1/27 Regents Exams

• 2/20-24 President's Day/Winter break

• 4/3-7 Spring recess

Emergency Closings: If 0 days are used, schools will be closed 5/25, 5/26, 5/30. If 1 day is used, schools will be closed 5/26 and 5/30. If 2 days are used, schools will be closed 5/26. If 3 or 4 days are used, the calendar will stand as listed above.

Note: If schools must be closed for more than 4 days, the necessary number of days will be made up using 4/3, 4/4 and 4/5 as make-up days, in that order.

Calendar adjustments may occur due to new NYS testing requirements.
